Are you a visionary supply chain leader ready to orchestrate high-impact global operations? Nexus Global Logistics is seeking an experienced, results-driven Director of Global Supply Chain & Logistics to optimize our end-to-end supply chain network.
In this high-leverage leadership role, you will design, implement, and scale our global logistics framework, driving efficiency across warehousing, distribution, international freight forwarding, and inventory management. You will collaborate with cross-functional executive teams to reduce operational bottlenecks, negotiate major vendor agreements, and leverage advanced ERP technologies to establish a world-class, resilient supply chain.
Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the global supply chain strategy to support multi-channel expansion and international distribution.
- Oversee all warehousing, inventory management, customs compliance, and fulfillment operations across multiple international hubs.
- Lead vendor selection, negotiate multi-million dollar contracts, and build strategic alliances with third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize delivery times, minimize carrier spend, and ensure 99.9% inventory accuracy.
- Partner with Product Development, Finance, and Sales to align supply chain capacity with demand forecasting and company growth goals.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies to streamline operational workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or a highly related analytical field (MBA or MS preferred).
- 7+ years of progressive leadership experience managing complex, global supply chain and logistics operations.
- Proven track record of managing international logistics, customs regulations, ocean/air freight, and last-mile delivery networks.
- Expert-level proficiency with enterprise ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and modern Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing a multi-million dollar logistics budget.
- APICS certification (CSCP or CPIM) and Lean Six Sigma certification are highly desirable.
