Responsibilities
- Advise clients on M&A transactions, corporate governance, and SEC compliance matters
- Draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements, including SaaS, licensing, and partnership deals
- Develop proactive risk mitigation strategies for fintech and blockchain companies
- Manage litigation and dispute resolution with external counsel coordination
- Lead regulatory compliance initiatives across multiple jurisdictions
- Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to firm-wide legal knowledge development
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree from ABA-accredited law school
- Admitted to New York State Bar with 5+ years corporate law experience
- Proven track record in fintech/crypto regulatory compliance
- Expertise in drafting technology-focused commercial agreements
- Strong analytical skills with ability to simplify complex legal concepts
- Experience managing cross-border transactions and international compliance
- Excellent communication skills with ability to advise executive stakeholders
