Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide individual, couples, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities.
- Advocate for clients within healthcare systems and community resources to ensure access to care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate holistic care for patients.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinical standards and HIPAA regulations.
- Facilitate support groups and educational workshops for patients and families.
Qualifications
- Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from an accredited program.
- Current New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) certification.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in clinical social work or a related behavioral health field.
- Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, trauma-informed care, and crisis intervention strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build rapport.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
