Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized service plans for families in crisis.
- Conduct thorough intake assessments to identify social, emotional, and economic needs.
- Provide crisis intervention and short-term counseling services.
- Coordinate with local government agencies, housing authorities, and healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate, confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA and state regulations.
- Lead educational workshops and support groups for community members.
- Advocate for client needs during interdisciplinary case conferences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (BSW), Psychology, or a related field required; MSW preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in direct social service delivery.
- In-depth knowledge of Seattle-area social service networks and resources.
- Strong proficiency in trauma-informed care practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to navigate difficult conversations.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation.
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries in high-stress situations.
