Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee a diverse portfolio of corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and private equity investments.
- Prepare, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, service contracts, and NDAs.
- Conduct thorough legal research and due diligence to assess risks and advise clients accordingly.
- Advise senior partners and clients on regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and risk management strategies.
- Represent the firm in negotiations and court proceedings as needed.
- Mentor junior associates and legal staff to foster a culture of excellence.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New York State Bar (active membership or in good standing).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience practicing corporate law or a related field.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance, securities law, and contract law.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Superior written and verbal communication abilities.
