Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute supply chain strategies to meet business objectives and improve overall operational efficiency.
- Data Analysis: Utilize SQL, Python, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau) to analyze logistics data, generate actionable insights, and optimize inventory levels.
- Network Optimization: Assess and optimize transportation routes and carrier networks to minimize freight costs and transit times.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and internal stakeholders to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in the supply chain workflow and implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
- Forecasting: Produce accurate demand forecasts to support procurement and production planning.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in supply chain analysis, logistics, or operations management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced data analysis skills.
- Tools: Strong command of SQL and experience with data visualization tools.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data to executive leadership.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex logistical issues and implement effective solutions.
