Responsibilities
- Strategize and execute transportation plans for 200+ daily shipments across 12 states
- Manage fleet of 75+ vehicles including dry vans, reefers, and specialized equipment
- Implement predictive analytics for route optimization and cost reduction
- Oversee driver recruitment, training, and compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Coordinate with carriers, warehouses, and clients for seamless delivery operations
- Develop KPIs and performance metrics for continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead crisis management for weather disruptions and emergency logistics scenarios
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Transportation Management
- 5+ years of transportation operations experience with multi-modal fleets
- Proven expertise in TMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan) and telematics
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations, HOS compliance, and safety protocols
- Advanced data analysis skills with experience in logistics optimization
- Excellent leadership abilities with experience managing 15+ person teams
- PMP or CSCP certification preferred
- Ability to work rotating shifts during peak operational periods
