Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize daily transportation operations across a 50-vehicle fleet
- Develop strategic routing plans using AI-powered logistics software
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Analyze KPIs to improve delivery efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Coordinate with warehouse and distribution center teams
- Lead cross-functional initiatives for sustainable transportation practices
- Mentor junior operations staff and foster team development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
- 5+ years of transportation operations experience
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and DOT compliance
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., TMW, Descartes)
- Experience managing fleet operations and driver management systems
- Proven ability to analyze transportation data and implement improvements
- Strong leadership and cross-functional communication skills
- CDL-A certification preferred
