Responsibilities
- Analyze existing supply chain processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for strategic improvement, utilizing data-driven insights.
- Develop and implement optimization strategies for inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and demand planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, operations, and sales, to ensure seamless integration of supply chain initiatives.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and software solutions to enhance supply chain visibility, forecasting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of implemented strategies and report on performance to stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and logistics partners, negotiating contracts and ensuring adherence to service level agreements.
- Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects, applying methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma to streamline operations.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on supply chain performance, trends, and strategic recommendations for senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in supply chain optimization, logistics analysis, or a similar role within a large-scale operation.
- Proven expertise with ERP and SCM software systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle SCM, Blue Yonder, Manhattan Associates).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with diverse teams and presenting to stakeholders.
- Demonstrated project management abilities, with a track record of successfully leading or contributing to process improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions), PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) or APICS (CSCP, CPIM) is a significant plus.
