Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse and transportation operations to ensure timely delivery and optimal inventory levels.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements for significant cost reduction.
- Manage a diverse team of logistics professionals, providing mentorship, performance feedback, and career development.
- Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and freight carriers.
- Develop and execute strategic logistics plans that align with the company's aggressive growth objectives.
- Lead root-cause analysis for operational disruptions and implement preventative measures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain or logistics management.
- Proven expertise in inventory management systems (SAP, Oracle, or WMS experience preferred).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex logistics data and forecasting models.
- Excellent leadership abilities, with a track record of managing high-performing teams.
- Professional certification (CPIM, CSCP, or CLM) is a significant plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends during peak seasons.
