Responsibilities
- Lead Operational Excellence: Direct daily logistics operations, ensuring seamless coordination between transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with company goals, focusing on cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a diverse team of logistics coordinators and analysts, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, manage warehousing contracts, and implement rigorous inventory control protocols to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Data Analysis: Utilize logistics software and KPI dashboards to analyze performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all operations adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, as well as internal safety standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Logistics is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced knowledge of logistics management software.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable business insights.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to stakeholders at all levels.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving critical logistical challenges and optimizing workflows under tight deadlines.
