Responsibilities
- Lead Supply Chain Operations: Spearhead the end-to-end supply chain strategy, overseeing procurement, warehousing, and distribution networks to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
- Optimize Logistics Routes: Analyze current logistics workflows and implement advanced routing strategies to reduce transit times and fuel consumption.
- Inventory Management: Implement robust inventory control systems to prevent stockouts and overstocking, ensuring optimal inventory turnover rates.
- Vendor Relations: Cultivate strong relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and suppliers to negotiate favorable contracts and ensure service quality.
- Cost Reduction: Identify areas for operational cost savings through process improvements and strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a cross-functional team of logistics coordinators and supply chain analysts.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, logistics, or operations.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of logistics software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan Associates).
- Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze complex data sets to forecast demand and optimize supply chain performance.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot operational issues and implement effective, scalable solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data to stakeholders.
