Responsibilities
- Direct the daily operations of the supply chain, including inventory control, warehousing, and transportation.
- Analyze logistics data and KPIs to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and freight forwarders to ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and mitigate supply risks.
- Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
- Lead and mentor a team of supply chain analysts and coordinators.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or operations.
- Proven experience utilizing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and supply chain analytics tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and forecasting models.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Certification in Six Sigma or APICS is a strong advantage.
