Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, inventory management, and freight coordination across 3PL facilities
- Optimize transportation routes and carrier partnerships to reduce costs by 15% annually
- Implement WMS/TMS upgrades and data analytics for real-time supply chain visibility
- Lead cross-functional teams in continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Lean)
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with key logistics partners
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA, OSHA, and international trade regulations
- Develop annual logistics budgets and KPI tracking systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration
- 8+ years progressive experience in 3PL/warehouse management
- Expertise in WMS/TMS platforms (Manhattan, Blue Yonder preferred)
- Proven track record of reducing transportation costs and improving delivery times
- Strong analytical skills with experience in logistics data modeling
- CPIM or CSCP certification highly desirable
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams and remote stakeholders
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and supply chain optimization tools
