Responsibilities
- Analyze transportation data and carrier performance to identify trends, bottlenecks, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop and maintain complex models for demand forecasting, route optimization, and inventory planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, procurement, and finance, to implement supply chain improvements.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, freight spend, and inventory turnover.
- Utilize SQL and advanced Excel to extract, manipulate, and visualize large datasets for executive reporting.
- Research and negotiate with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to secure competitive rates and service levels.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to streamline warehouse operations and distribution workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain analysis, logistics management, or transportation planning.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and Tableau.
- Strong understanding of freight forwarding, Incoterms, and supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manugistics).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present actionable insights.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
