Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations including freight brokerage, customs clearance, and last-mile delivery
- Optimize warehouse layouts and implement lean inventory management systems
- Develop strategic relationships with carriers, 3PL providers, and key vendors
- Analyze KPIs to reduce transportation costs by 15-20% annually
- Lead cross-functional teams in crisis management and contingency planning
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA, OSHA, and international trade regulations
- Drive digital transformation through IoT and blockchain integration initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years progressive experience in logistics management with 3+ years in leadership
- Expertise in TMS/WMS platforms (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Associates)
- Proven track record of reducing logistics costs while improving service levels
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- CDL certification and hazardous materials handling experience
- Excellent negotiation skills and vendor management expertise
