Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, neurological status, and cardiac rhythms in real-time.
- Administer complex medications, intravenous fluids, and blood products according to doctor's orders.
- Operate and monitor life-support equipment, including ventilators, dialysis machines, and hemodynamic monitoring devices.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and specialists to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Perform emergency procedures and interventions, including CPR and advanced life support, when required.
- Provide emotional support and clear communication to families of patients in critical condition.
- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation in compliance with hospital protocols and legal standards.
- Ensure a sterile environment and adhere to strict infection control policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Must be a Registered Nurse with a valid practicing license from the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience, preferably in an ICU, CCU, or high-dependency setting.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to make rapid, accurate decisions in high-stress situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse medical teams and patient families.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based nursing practice.
- Willingness to perform shift work, including nights, weekends, and public holidays as required by the roster.
- Proficiency in standard medical software and patient management systems.
