Responsibilities
- Assist GPs during patient consultations, including taking vital signs and preparing examination rooms
- Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation in clinic management systems
- Handle administrative tasks including appointment scheduling, billing, and insurance processing
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment ordering
- Coordinate patient flow and provide exceptional customer service at reception
- Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and examination rooms
- Support clinic manager with operational tasks and quality assurance initiatives
Qualifications
- Certificate/Diploma in Medical Assisting or Healthcare Administration
- Minimum 1 year clinical or administrative healthcare experience
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and empathy for patients
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail in record-keeping and billing processes
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare protocols
