Responsibilities
- End-to-End Production Leadership: Oversee the entire video production lifecycle, from initial concept development, budgeting, and pre-production planning to shooting, editing, and final delivery.
- Creative Direction: Develop creative concepts and scripts that align with brand identity and marketing objectives. Provide constructive feedback to ensure creative vision is maintained.
- Post-Production Mastery: Edit raw footage into polished, professional videos using industry-standard software. Execute color grading, sound design, and motion graphics to enhance visual storytelling.
- Client Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, presenting storyboards, rough cuts, and final renders, and incorporating feedback seamlessly.
- Team Collaboration: Mentor junior editors and producers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the creative department.
- Technical Execution: Operate professional camera equipment (Arri, RED, Sony) and lighting rigs when on set, ensuring high production value.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in video production, editing, and post-production.
- Technical Proficiency: Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop) and DaVinci Resolve. Proficiency in sound editing tools is highly preferred.
- Portfolio: A robust portfolio showcasing a variety of styles, including commercials, corporate videos, and documentaries.
- Storytelling: Strong understanding of narrative structure, pacing, and visual composition.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts to non-creative stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues on set and in the edit suite under tight deadlines.
