Vanguard Media Group is seeking a visionary Senior Video Producer & Director to lead our high-impact visual storytelling initiatives in Los Angeles. In this role, you will orchestrate the entire production lifecycle, from creative conceptualization and scriptwriting to directing on-set talent and overseeing high-end post-production. Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end video production lifecycles, translating high-level marketing concepts into engaging commercial and social video assets.
- Direct on-set talent, camera crews, and lighting technicians to ensure visual assets align with the brand's creative direction and quality standards.
- Oversee comprehensive post-production workflows, including editing, color grading, sound design, and motion graphics integration.
- Manage production budgets, resource allocation, and project timelines to guarantee on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional creative, copy, and marketing teams to establish a cohesive visual identity across all platforms.
- Stay ahead of emerging video technology, camera gear, and distribution trends to continuously elevate production quality.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience as a Video Producer, Director, or Senior Editor within a creative agency, production house, or brand studio.
- Expert-level mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Audition.
- Proven track record of managing on-set productions, with deep technical knowledge of cinema cameras, lighting set-ups, and audio equipment.
- Exceptional storytelling capability, evidenced by an outstanding portfolio or reel demonstrating diverse visual styles and genres.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Fine Arts, or equivalent practical industry experience.
