Role Overview:
The Senior Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage into a cohesive and compelling story. You will work closely with the creative director and producers to ensure every frame aligns with our brand's voice and objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of pacing, color theory, and motion graphics.
Responsibilities
- Post-Production Leadership: Take ownership of the editing process, from initial rough cuts to final color grading and sound design.
- Storytelling: Interpret scripts and storyboards to create narratives that engage our audience and drive conversion.
- Technical Proficiency: Operate editing software (Premiere Pro, After Effects) to execute complex visual effects and seamless transitions.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the sound design team and motion graphics artists to ensure a polished final product.
- File Management: Maintain an organized digital asset library and adhere to strict delivery specifications.
- Feedback Integration: Incorporate feedback from stakeholders efficiently while maintaining creative integrity.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in video editing for digital platforms (YouTube, Social Media, etc.).
- Software Mastery: Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop) and DaVinci Resolve.
- Portfolio: A strong, diverse portfolio demonstrating editing versatility across different styles and formats.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional eye for detail, including color correction and sound mixing.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate creative concepts.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
