Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end video editing projects including narrative storytelling, social media clips, and promotional content
- Collaborate with creative directors to develop visual concepts and storyboards
- Color grade footage and apply motion graphics to enhance visual impact
- Optimize videos for multiple platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, broadcast)
- Manage version control and maintain organized project archives
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging editing techniques
- Mentor junior editors and provide constructive feedback on team projects
Qualifications
- 3+ years professional video editing experience with portfolio demonstrating diverse styles
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve
- Strong understanding of color theory, composition, and visual storytelling
- Experience with motion graphics, 3D animation, and sound design principles
- Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining production quality standards
- Excellent communication skills for client collaboration and feedback integration
- Portfolio showcasing 5+ professional projects across different formats
