Responsibilities
- Transform raw footage into polished, narrative-driven videos for diverse platforms (social, web, broadcast)
- Collaborate with directors and producers to conceptualize visual storytelling approaches
- Execute complex edits, color grading, and motion graphics using Adobe Creative Suite
- Optimize video content for platform-specific technical requirements and audience engagement
- Manage project timelines and deliverables while maintaining exceptional quality standards
- Mentor junior editors and contribute to evolving our creative workflows
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging video technologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years professional video editing experience with demonstrable portfolio
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong understanding of storytelling principles, visual pacing, and color theory
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Experience with motion graphics, sound design, and compression techniques
- Portfolio showcasing diverse styles (documentary, commercial, narrative)
