Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and execute video edits from script to final deliverable, ensuring alignment with creative vision and brand guidelines
- Collaborate with directors and producers during pre-production planning to establish visual storytelling approaches
- Perform advanced color grading, motion graphics integration, and audio mixing using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strict deadlines and quality standards
- Develop and maintain efficient asset management systems for raw footage, graphics, and final renders
- Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and emerging technologies in video production
- Mentor junior editors and provide constructive feedback to elevate team output
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional video editing experience with a portfolio demonstrating diverse projects (commercial, documentary, digital content)
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition) and DaVinci Resolve
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling principles, pacing, and narrative structure
- Experience with motion graphics, 3D animation (Cinema 4D/Blender), and VFX compositing
- Ability to interpret creative direction and translate abstract concepts into compelling visual sequences
- Proven track record of managing complex projects with tight deadlines and multiple stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, or related field preferred
