Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and execute video edits that align with creative briefs and brand guidelines
- Collaborate with directors to refine storylines, pacing, and visual aesthetics
- Color grade footage and apply visual effects using industry-standard software
- Manage project timelines and deliverables across multiple concurrent projects
- Mentor junior editors and maintain efficient asset management workflows
- Optimize final deliverables for various platforms (social, broadcast, web)
- Stay current with emerging editing techniques and technological advancements
Qualifications
- 5+ years professional video editing experience with demonstrated portfolio
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve
- Strong understanding of motion graphics, compositing, and color theory
- Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining creative excellence
- Experience collaborating with creative teams in fast-paced production environments
- Knowledge of 4K/8K workflows and HDR color grading standards
- Portfolio showcasing diverse project types (commercials, documentaries, social content)
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, or related field preferred
