Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and execute video edits from script to final deliverable using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve
- Collaborate with directors and producers to refine storylines and pacing while maintaining brand voice
- Manage multi-camera footage, color grading, audio mixing, and motion graphics integration
- Optimize content for diverse platforms (social media, broadcast, streaming) with platform-specific technical requirements
- Maintain project timelines and deliverables within agile production environments
- Mentor junior editors while staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years professional video editing experience with portfolio showcasing narrative-driven projects
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition)
- Strong understanding of color theory, sound design principles, and visual storytelling
- Proven ability to deliver projects under tight deadlines with creative problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, or related field preferred
- Experience with 4K/8K workflows, HDR color grading, and multi-format rendering
