Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, narrative-driven final cuts using Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve
- Collaborate with creative directors to develop visual concepts and storyboards that align with brand messaging
- Color grade footage and apply visual effects using After Effects and Nuke to achieve cinematic aesthetics
- Optimize video assets for multiple platforms (social, web, broadcast) while maintaining quality standards
- Manage version control and asset organization in collaborative workflows
- Guide junior editors through feedback sessions and best practices
- Stay current with industry trends, software updates, and emerging techniques
Qualifications
- 5+ years professional video editing experience with portfolio showcasing diverse projects
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition)
- Strong understanding of color theory, motion graphics, and sound design principles
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while managing multiple projects
- Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, or related field preferred
- Experience with 4K/8K workflows and HDR color grading
