Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design process from concept to launch, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity mockups.
- Collaborate closely with product management and engineering teams to define product requirements, user stories, and feature specifications.
- Conduct user interviews, usability testing, and other research methods to gather insights and validate design decisions.
- Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency and scalability across all products.
- Present and articulate design solutions, rationale, and user insights to stakeholders, incorporating feedback effectively.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to a culture of design excellence and continuous improvement.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UI/UX design.
- Champion a user-centered design approach throughout the product development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX, Product Design, or Interaction Design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Expert proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Demonstrated expertise in user-centered design principles, information architecture, and usability best practices.
- Strong understanding of front-end development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) to effectively communicate with engineering teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly.
- Proven ability to thrive in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience with data analysis and A/B testing to inform design iterations.
