Responsibilities
- Lead design sprints for web and mobile applications, creating user-centered wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Conduct user research sessions including interviews, usability testing, and persona development to inform design decisions
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure seamless implementation of design systems and components
- Develop and maintain comprehensive design documentation including style guides, interaction patterns, and user flow diagrams
- Present design concepts to stakeholders through compelling visual storytelling and data-driven rationale
- Mentor junior designers while maintaining PixelCraft's signature aesthetic and quality standards
- Stay current with emerging design trends, accessibility best practices (WCAG 2.1), and prototyping technologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional UI/UX design experience with a portfolio showcasing 10+ live digital products
- Expert proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and prototyping tools like Principle or ProtoPie
- Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into intuitive user experiences
- Strong understanding of responsive design patterns, information architecture, and interaction design principles
- Experience conducting moderated usability testing and applying quantitative/qualitative research insights
- Knowledge of front-end development basics (HTML/CSS/JS) for effective collaboration with engineering teams
- Certification in UX design (e.g., Nielsen Norman Group, Interaction Design Foundation) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating expertise in creating accessible designs meeting WCAG 2.1 AA standards
