Responsibilities
- Lead user-centered design projects through discovery, ideation, prototyping, and iteration
- Conduct comprehensive user research, interviews, and usability testing
- Create high-fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes, and design systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align design with technical and business goals
- Develop and maintain design documentation and component libraries
- Present design rationale to stakeholders and advocate for user needs
- Mentor junior designers and conduct design critiques
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging design technologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio
- Expertise in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and prototyping tools
- Proficiency in user research methodologies and usability testing
- Strong understanding of design systems, accessibility standards (WCAG), and responsive design
- Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with developers
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions
- Portfolio demonstrating complex problem-solving and polished visual execution
