Responsibilities
- Design Strategy: Lead the end-to-end design process, from wireframing and prototyping to high-fidelity visual design.
- User Research: Conduct user interviews, usability testing, and market analysis to inform design decisions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business goals.
- Design Systems: Contribute to and maintain our internal design systems to ensure consistency across all platforms.
- Mentorship: Guide junior designers and provide constructive feedback to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Accessibility: Ensure all designs meet WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design, preferably within a product-driven environment.
- Tools: Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools like Framer or Principle.
- Portfolio: A strong, case-study driven portfolio demonstrating a deep understanding of user-centered design principles.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and front-end development frameworks (React, Vue) is highly desirable.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex design concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
