Responsibilities
- Lead Design Strategy: Own the end-to-end design lifecycle for key product initiatives, from wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes.
- User Research: Conduct user interviews, usability testing, and competitive analysis to drive data-informed design decisions.
- Visual Design: Create pixel-perfect interfaces and intuitive user flows using industry-standard tools like Figma.
- Design Systems: Maintain and expand our internal design system to ensure consistency and scalability across web and mobile platforms.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineers to ensure designs are feasible, accessible, and aligned with business goals.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior designers, providing constructive feedback and fostering a collaborative design culture.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design, preferably in a SaaS or Fintech environment.
- Portfolio: A strong, curated portfolio demonstrating a deep understanding of interaction design, visual hierarchy, and user research.
- Tools: Advanced proficiency in Figma with experience in prototyping tools (Principle, Framer) and design tools (Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Principles: Solid grasp of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Communication: Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to articulate complex design concepts to non-design stakeholders.
