Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of 150+ vehicle fleet across 5 distribution centers
- Develop and implement strategic transportation plans reducing costs by 15% annually
- Lead cross-functional teams including dispatch, maintenance, and compliance specialists
- Manage multimodal transportation contracts with carriers valued at $25M+
- Implement IoT and AI solutions for real-time route optimization and predictive maintenance
- Ensure 100% compliance with FMCSA, DOT, and international transport regulations
- Lead sustainability initiatives targeting 30% reduction in carbon emissions by 2025
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Management (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years progressive experience in transportation operations with 3+ in leadership
- Expertise in TMS platforms (SAP TM, Oracle TMS, or Blue Yonder)
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools
- FMCSA certification and hazardous materials endorsement
- Proven track record of managing multimodal transportation networks
- Experience implementing LEAN and Six Sigma methodologies
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across C-suite and external partners
