Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end transportation strategies for 50+ fleet vehicles and partner networks
- Optimize routing algorithms using real-time data analysis to reduce fuel consumption by 15%+
- Lead cross-functional teams in executing multimodal logistics plans for Fortune 500 clients
- Develop KPIs and dashboards to track performance metrics (on-time delivery, cost efficiency, emissions)
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with transportation service providers
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and industry safety standards
- Lead digital transformation initiatives in transportation management systems (TMS)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Transportation Management (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years in transportation/logistics with 3+ years in management roles
- Expertise in TMS platforms (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active)
- FMCSA compliance certification and DOT regulations knowledge
- Proven experience optimizing multimodal transportation networks
- Advanced data analytics skills with SQL and visualization tools
- PMP or CSCP certification strongly preferred
- Strong negotiation and vendor management capabilities
