Responsibilities
- Design and execute multimodal transportation strategies for EU-wide freight distribution
- Oversee fleet management and third-party logistics partnerships
- Implement IoT tracking systems for real-time shipment visibility
- Ensure compliance with EU transport regulations (ADR, TIR conventions)
- Develop cost-optimization models for intermodal and maritime transport
- Lead digital transformation projects using supply chain automation tools
- Manage cross-functional teams including drivers, dispatchers, and customs brokers
- Analyze KPIs to improve delivery performance and reduce transit times
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Transportation
- 8+ years of experience in international freight management
- Advanced proficiency in TMS platforms (e.g., SAP TM, Oracle Transportation)
- Certification in CSCP or CPIM preferred
- Expert knowledge of EU customs procedures and INCOTERMS 2020
- Strong data analysis skills with experience in logistics optimization
- Proven leadership managing cross-functional teams of 15+ professionals
- Fluency in English and Dutch; German proficiency highly valued
