Responsibilities
- Design and implement multi-modal transportation strategies for national distribution networks
- Lead cross-functional teams optimizing freight routing, warehousing, and delivery scheduling
- Develop KPIs and analytics frameworks to reduce transit times by 25% annually
- Manage relationships with 3PL providers, carriers, and port authorities
- Overhaul fleet operations to integrate electric vehicles and IoT tracking systems
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA, EPA, and international transport regulations
- Present quarterly performance metrics to C-suite executives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in transportation/logistics management with 5+ in leadership roles
- Proven experience optimizing multi-modal supply chains valued at $50M+
- Expertise in TMS platforms (Blue Yonder, Manhattan, or Oracle Transportation)
- Advanced certification in SCOR or CSCP preferred
- Strong analytical skills with SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Deep understanding of ELD compliance and Hours of Service regulations
- Track record implementing cost-reduction initiatives saving $2M+ annually
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field required
