Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end transportation strategies for multi-modal freight networks
- Manage $50M+ logistics budgets and vendor relationships with 3PL carriers
- Oversee fleet operations including route optimization and compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Develop predictive analytics models for demand forecasting and capacity planning
- Lead cross-functional teams in continuous improvement initiatives
- Drive sustainability initiatives through carbon footprint reduction programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 10+ years progressive transportation management experience
- Expert knowledge of TMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and EDI systems
- Proven track record in multimodal transportation (rail, truck, air, ocean)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making abilities
- Certified Transportation Professional (CTP) designation required
