Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end transportation strategies across multi-modal networks
- Lead cross-functional teams in carrier negotiations and contract management
- Analyze KPIs to optimize routing, TMS utilization, and fuel efficiency
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and DOT safety standards
- Drive continuous improvement through data-driven decision making
- Manage multimodal freight operations (rail, air, intermodal, LTL)
- Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration
- 8+ years in transportation management with 3+ years in leadership
- Expertise in TMS platforms (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active)
- Certified Transportation Professional (CTP) or APICS-CPIM preferred
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and BI tools
- Proven experience managing multimodal freight budgets exceeding $10M
- Excellent negotiation skills and stakeholder management abilities
