Responsibilities
- Develop and execute end-to-end transportation strategies across multi-modal networks
- Optimize freight routing, carrier selection, and fleet allocation using data analytics
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for 3PL partnerships
- Implement IoT and AI-driven solutions for real-time fleet monitoring
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA, DOT, and international transport regulations
- Lead cross-functional teams to resolve supply chain disruptions
- Analyze KPIs to reduce transportation costs by 15-20% annually
- Drive sustainability initiatives through electrification and route optimization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years in transportation management with 3+ years in leadership
- Proven expertise in TMS implementation and fleet management systems
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making
- Certification in CSCP, CTL, or CPIM highly valued
- Exceptional negotiation and vendor management capabilities
- Deep knowledge of interstate commerce regulations and compliance
