- Design and implement advanced transportation optimization models using SQL, Python, and Tableau
- Analyze freight cost structures and negotiate contracts with 3PL providers
- Develop KPI dashboards to track on-time delivery rates and fuel efficiency metrics
- Lead cross-functional projects to reduce transportation spend by 15% annually
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and emerging ESG reporting standards
- Mentor junior analysts on transportation management best practices
- Present strategic insights to C-suite stakeholders quarterly
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Data Science (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years in transportation analytics or freight management
- Expert proficiency in logistics software (TMW Suite, Descartes MacroPoint)
- Advanced certification in CSCP or CTL
- Proven experience modeling multi-modal transportation networks
- Strong understanding of LTL, FTL, and intermodal operations
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling abilities
- Ability to obtain TWIC clearance for port facility access
