Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design and architecture of complex software systems, ensuring scalability, security, and high performance.
- Define and enforce technical standards, coding standards, and best practices across the engineering organization.
- Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Conduct code reviews, architecture reviews, and technical assessments to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
- Drive the migration of legacy systems to modern cloud environments, optimizing resource utilization and reducing operational overhead.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions that keep Apex Innovations at the forefront of the market.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3-5 years in a Senior or Lead Architect role.
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong proficiency in modern programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go.
- Proven experience in designing microservices architectures and event-driven systems.
- Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or TOGAF are highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
