Role Overview:
As a Senior IT Systems Analyst, you will act as a bridge between technical engineering and strategic business requirements. You will lead technical assessments, manage system lifecycles, and ensure compliance with strict federal regulations (NIST, FISMA).
Responsibilities
- System Lifecycle Management: Oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-level IT systems to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Cybersecurity Compliance: Implement and monitor security protocols to protect sensitive federal data; conduct regular vulnerability assessments.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for agency stakeholders, translating complex technical requirements into actionable IT solutions.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze system performance metrics and deploy optimizations to enhance operational efficiency.
- Incident Response: Lead troubleshooting efforts for critical system outages and coordinate recovery procedures.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI access.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT systems analysis, preferably within the public sector or defense contracting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Methodologies: Strong knowledge of ITIL frameworks, Agile methodologies, and project management principles.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
