Responsibilities
- Prepare and review complex personal and corporate tax returns in compliance with HMRC regulations.
- Provide high-level tax planning advice to clients to optimize their financial position and minimize liabilities.
- Conduct thorough tax research and analysis to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Lead a team of junior advisors, providing mentorship and training on tax procedures.
- Manage a portfolio of high-profile clients, acting as the primary point of contact for all tax-related matters.
- Identify business development opportunities within existing client accounts.
Qualifications
- ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in UK Taxation (Corporate or Personal).
- Deep understanding of VAT, Corporation Tax, and Income Tax legislation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex tax strategies to non-experts.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel and tax software (e.g., CCH, Wolters Kluwer).
