At Nexus Global Logistics, we are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Senior Supply Chain Operations Manager to oversee our end-to-end fulfillment network. In this high-impact role, you will bridge the gap between procurement, warehouse operations, and data analytics to optimize performance, reduce lead times, and drive sustainable growth.
You will work with cross-functional teams to integrate cutting-edge AI-driven inventory management systems and spearhead initiatives that enhance operational efficiency across our North American hubs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies to optimize inventory turnover and reduce operational costs.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with procurement, freight forwarding, and warehouse stakeholders to ensure seamless distribution.
- Implement data-driven forecasting models to predict demand fluctuations and prevent stockouts or overstock scenarios.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms and service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Identify and mitigate potential supply chain bottlenecks using advanced root-cause analysis and process mapping.
- Oversee compliance with international trade regulations and safety standards across all distribution centers.
- Mentor a team of logistics coordinators, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or CSCP certification preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations management.
- Expert-level proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics 365).
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale global inventory projects and vendor negotiations.
- Strong analytical mindset with deep experience in data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Proven ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
