Apex Global Logistics is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Senior Supply Chain Operations Manager to oversee our high-volume distribution networks. In this pivotal role, you will lead cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, reduce overhead, and implement sustainable logistics technologies that set industry benchmarks.
You will be instrumental in bridging the gap between operational execution and long-term business strategy in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, warehousing, and domestic distribution.
- Optimize warehouse management systems (WMS) to improve inventory accuracy and order fulfillment speed.
- Manage relationships with 3PL providers and carriers to negotiate favorable contracts and service levels.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain bottlenecks through rigorous data-driven root cause analysis.
- Develop and mentor a high-performing operations team to foster a culture of excellence and safety.
- Design and implement cost-saving initiatives that align with corporate sustainability goals.
- Monitor KPIs and present actionable insights to executive leadership on a monthly basis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in supply chain management or logistics operations.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and WMS software.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proven track record of successfully scaling logistics operations in high-growth environments.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Professional certification (APICS/CSCP/CLTD) is highly desirable.
