Apex Global Logistics is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Senior Supply Chain Operations Manager to lead our logistics division in Atlanta. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire supply chain lifecycle, from procurement and inventory management to final delivery, ensuring maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including inventory control, warehousing, and transportation management.
- Analyze complex logistics data to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements that drive cost reduction.
- Develop and maintain relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), freight forwarders, and key vendors.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between sales, procurement, and fulfillment departments.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as On-Time In-Full (OTIF), inventory turnover, and order accuracy.
- Develop robust contingency plans to manage supply chain disruptions and ensure business continuity.
- Mentor junior staff and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the operations team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in supply chain operations, logistics, or transportation management.
- Proven experience managing supply chain teams and external vendor relationships.
- Expert proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to facilities as needed.
