In this pivotal role, you will architect, optimize, and scale complex logistics networks to ensure seamless delivery performance in a fast-paced environment.
You will collaborate with cross-functional global teams, leverage cutting-edge predictive analytics, and drive lean initiatives to minimize operational bottlenecks while maximizing customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies to optimize inventory flow and lead times.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing logistics team of 20+ warehouse and transport coordinators.
- Monitor and analyze real-time KPIs to identify operational inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee vendor relationships, including 3PL providers and regional freight carriers, to ensure service level compliance.
- Manage the annual operating budget, focusing on cost-reduction strategies and sustainable logistics practices.
- Collaborate with the procurement department to align production schedules with market demand forecasts.
- Spearhead the transition to automated warehouse management systems (WMS) to boost productivity by 15%.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations management.
- Expert-level proficiency in WMS/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Demonstrated history of driving process improvements through Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret large datasets for strategic decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills with the capability to manage stakeholder relationships across different time zones.
- APICS (CSCP) or Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification is highly desirable.
