Responsibilities
- Oversee Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain plans that align with business goals and improve overall efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a diverse team of logistics coordinators, analysts, and drivers to ensure high performance and safety standards.
- Cost Optimization: Analyze logistics data and trends to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.
- Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and maintain strong relationships to ensure service reliability.
- Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to streamline warehouse operations and distribution workflows using modern technology.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all operations adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA standards and environmental compliance.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in supply chain operations, logistics, or transportation management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and WMS/TMS software is essential.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex metrics and generate actionable insights.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing large-scale projects.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting to senior leadership.
