Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire supply chain lifecycle, from procurement to delivery, ensuring optimal efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Analyze logistics data and supply chain metrics to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, warehousing, and transportation, to streamline operations.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to support company growth and market expansion.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and freight carriers.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding transportation and safety.
- Lead and mentor a team of supply chain analysts and coordinators, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or operations.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and supply chain software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Proven track record of managing budgets and negotiating contracts with vendors.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
- Professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPSM, or CPIM) is a significant plus.
