What You Will Do:
As the Senior Supply Chain Manager, you will lead a team of logistics professionals to ensure seamless operations across all touchpoints.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies that align with company goals, optimizing inventory levels and reducing lead times.
- Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day logistics operations, including freight forwarding, warehousing, and distribution network management.
- Cost Optimization: Analyze supply chain metrics and identify areas for process improvement, negotiating with vendors to secure the best rates and service levels.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a high-performing team of logistics coordinators and analysts, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all supply chain activities adhere to local and international regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Data Analysis: Leverage ERP systems and data analytics to forecast demand, manage cash flow related to inventory, and generate detailed operational reports.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, or other major ERP systems; strong data analysis capabilities.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex strategies to executive stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex logistics issues and implement effective solutions under tight deadlines.
- Language: Fluent in English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
